Saturday Centus #62

It's Saturday Centus again - in a nutshell, Jenny Matlock gives us a prompt from either herself or a guest submitter and then we have to write 100 or words less related to the prompt (the prompt doesn't count toward the 100 words) Then link it up to her blog. It's open until the following Saturday, so that means you have all week to participate by either reading or writing.  The prompt is in blue.  http://jennymatlock.blogspot.com/2011/07/saturday-centus.html

This is a continuing story - 59, 60, 61

“Hi Frances, it’s nice to finally meet you.   How do you like the cottage?”

“I love it but I’ve got a lot to do to make it my own.   So, your running for mayor”.

“Yep”, he said.  “Would you be interested in putting a sign on your lawn for me?”

“Sure, why not”.

He brought it out and the sign read Vote for Will, He won't be a pill.

Frances started to laugh when she saw it and couldn’t stop.

“I know it’s corny” and he laughed with her as he pounded the sign into her front lawn

  16. I think Will might need a new publicist! ha!

Cute segment of your continuing story. I'm hoping you don't hate me for this weeks prompt...but I suspect you will manage to weave it deftly into the fabric of your story.

    Thanks for the laugh!

    A+
