Saturday Centus #64

It's Saturday Centus again - in a nutshell, Jenny Matlock gives us a prompt from either herself or a guest submitter and then we have to write 100 or words less related to the prompt (the prompt doesn't count toward the 100 words) Then link it up to her blog. It's open until the following Saturday, so that means you have all week to participate by either reading or writing.  The prompt is in blue.  http://jennymatlock.blogspot.com/search/label/Saturday%20Centus

It's another shake up week.  We can use up to 15 words plus the prompt.  This will not be part of my continuing Centus.

Before I die I want to try and figure out what my purpose was for being; and if I fulfilled it.

  2. Oh the sweet knowing of why, answered, good luck, and spread the answers...I could use that too! Thanks!

  4. Very pithy, so much meaning in so few words. Great piece.

  5. Hi Viki,
I agree with Robyn that you have found the essence of what most of us wish before we leave this life. Well done!

Thank you also for your kind words and wish that my dream will one day come true.

Actually, I am not banking on it. It would be lovely to be able to see grandchildren, but I am just so grateful for my children, that I try to treat them as precious miracles and not take anything for granted.

I am guessing that many of us will ask for things in these "Before-I-die-texts" that are impossible or unlikely, such as world peace or the answers to the really big questions, which is the nature of this prompt! We are forced to say little about a subject that is immense.

    Best wishes,
    Anna
