The Voice-moving on

I think I've said this before but every season they seem to add a new dimension to the Voice.  This time it was bringing back a contestant which at first I thought was good until I didn't.  It pretty much seemed like they didn't have a chance to be voted through or picked by the coach. 

While I'm complaining, I really don't like either in the blinds, knockouts that they don't show all the contestants singing that get on the show. They do some montages which would be fine but why can't they at least show their performances in total online?  Doesn't make sense.

What's with cutting half the teams last night?  I think that's too many to cut at one time.  Is it my imagination or does it seem like they are trying to shorten the season. It seems - rush rush to me.

In any case, I only voted online I didn't buy any ITunes.  I only voted for 3 from each coach.  I voted through 8 out of the 12 left.  It may even be 9 because one team I only remembered one for sure that I voted for, ha!

I still overall like the show but I am getting somewhat disenchanted with it.  I know, 1st world problem, who cares lol.

The Voice

Well, this is the first night of the live performances, the second tomorrow. We'll get to see who stays on Wednesday but my prediction is unless something terrible happens, I'm pretty sure Jordan Smith is going to win from Adam's team.  I just got that feeling the same way I did last time with Sawyer Fredrick, ha!  He does have an amazing voice though.

The voice

Wow, India will probably be going home but I thought her last song the Michael Jackson one was one of the best she did.  Also, the best of the night. I think she really deserved to sing last tonight.

Sawyer - when I blinked my eyes I thought I was back in the 60's.  Ha!  He did well tonight and I still think he's going to be the winner.  Give someone else a chance.  I could be wrong but it seems Sawyer gets to sing last a lot.

Josh - liked his second song best.

Meghan - I liked her second one best too.

Koryn  -  I still don't care for her.  Her voice always sound shaky too me, I think it's called her verbrato.  Unfortunately, it seems too many people like her so she's probably going to be voted through. 

The Voice Results

Darn!  I knew Kimberly was probably going to go home.  It makes me sad, but I'll agree she wasn't very good on Monday.  To me though, it was her first slip up.  Too bad it came when it did.

Luckily, I couldn't watch the show and I missed having to see it in person.  I got home at 9 right after it ended, so it took me a while to confirm she was the one.  Ugh, oh well...

The Voice - Voting

I'm not voting this week.  Pretty much it boils down to me not knowing who to vote for.  Every contestant, I didn't care for one of the songs they sang. 

I had to just comment though, I half expected Sawyer to start dancing during his last song.  That's the first time, he's sung that I actually thought he was having a good time. ;-)

The Voice Voting

I thought I'd give my opinions on the voice before I find out who gets voted through tonight.

Team Christina:
Kimberly - I love anything this gal does.
India - Eh, didn't care for it. 

Team Adam:
Josh - I liked him much better last night.

Team:  Pharrell:
Koryn - She blew me away last week, however, last night not so much.  I went back to the way I've felt about her from the beginning.  She's not for me.
Sawyer- Now that was the Sawyer that I loved the first time I saw him in the blind auditions.  I still think he's going to win.  Not sure I would vote for him though in the finals.

Team Blake:
Meghan - Her song just didn't do it for me although I still think she's good.
Hannah - To me, this was her worst performance.
Corey - I couldn't believe it but I actually liked him last night and thought this was his best moment to me.

Voted for:  Kimberly, Josh, Sawyer, Meghan, Corey and India.

Didn't vote for: Hannah and Koryn.  Could live with both of them going home.

Or, India and Corey I could live with either of them going even though I voted for them to stay. 

The Voice

I think it's really been a very good season on the Voice this year.

Team Christina:
Kimberly - I think she could be a winner
India - I still like her but not as much as when she first started.

Team Adam:
Josh - He's okay. His last couple of songs weren't that great.

Team Pharrell:
Koryn - I didn't really care for her but on Monday she blew me away with her song.
Sawyer - I loved Sawyer from the start.  I don't know what happened when they went live, I just don't like his songs as much.  I have a feeling though that he will win, ha.

Team Blake:
 Meghan - I think she could be a winner.
Hannah - I don't know that she's got a winning voice but I love her quirkiness and she certainly gives it her all when she's out there.
Corey - Ugh, what can I say.  He's got that country vote.  I don't get it compared to other country singers that Blake has had on his team I think he's pretty weak.  

There's just something about the Save that seems very unfair to me because not everyone's got twitter.  But I guess The Voice/NBC doesn't care what I think.

The Voice

Not so much.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm hardly watching TV anymore or if it's because Christina and Cee Lo aren't on.

I have been watching some of the performances on my I pad.   I've watched some interviews with Usher and Shakira, so it's not that I don't like them.  Huh!!

I watched this show from the minute it first started airing.  I couldn't wait each week for it.  Maybe the bloom is off the rose for me with it.

I hope once they start the live performances I can get back into it.  I miss it...

Survivor

Anyone watch?  I never watched the 1st Survivor but I've been hooked ever since.  Some seasons I like it some - not so much.  Usually who I want to win doesn't  LOL.

Last season, I really disliked Russel but then as it went on he grew on me and I started rooting for him.  I think maybe because he found all those immunity idols without any clues.  Of course, at the finale he was still kind of weird.

It starts on Thursday and I'm not sure how I'll like Heroes and Villains.  I haven't checked out yet whose all going to be on but I heard Russel will be there.  I don't see how he'll be able to get away with the same stuff from last season.

Seems to me when they had the all star season it wasn't that great.  I guess I'll see on Thursday.
