The high school I went to got closed down this year. Budget cuts I guess. One fond memory I have is when I used to walk home with my girlfriend. We used to stop every day on the way home from school and buy a bottle of RC to drink. I still favor RC as opposed to Pepsi or Coca Cola.
Do you say pop or soda? We say pop but for some reason from early on my son started calling it soda. I don't know where he learned it from - not us lol.

Good morning Miss Vicki. I say Soda Pop. My grandchildren look at me like I'm crazy because they don't no what I'm talking about.~Ames
I say pop but noticed that down south they seem to call it soda more than they call it pop.-mike
In MA we call it ...tonic.
Remembering back many years ago to traveling through the South and asking for a tonic at a gas station.
The clerk handed me a bottle of Vasoline hair tonic from behind the register. :0)
I grew up hearing tonic but once I started traveling learned soda was more nationally understood. I never used pop because I didn't even start drinking it until I was over 18 and POP just sounded like something a kid would say in Mayberry.
We say pop! Just a habit of where you are raised. I hate discussing these school budget cuts. Where does all the money go? We are taxed for every single thing and I just get a headache thinking about it. But I was glad I could top over and wish you a wonderful week. Anne
Most around here say pop, we say soda. We like to be different.
We say soda, but my family in Boston says, "tonic".
i'm from the south... down here everything is Coke. If you ask for a "coke" in a resturant they are apt to say "what Kind?" which the anser from my hubby would be "sprite"LOL
