Saturday Centus #37

It's Saturday Centus again - in a nutshell, Jenny Matlock gives us a prompt from either herself or a guest submitter and then we have to write 100 or words less related to the prompt (the prompt doesn't count toward the 100 words) Then link it up to her blog. It's open until the following Saturday, so that means you have all week to participate by either reading or writing. This week there is a  SHAKE UP:  Microfiction  only 25 words. http://jennymatlock.blogspot.com/search/label/Saturday%20Centus

My son is flying home next week.  I'm over 700 blogs posts behind, yikes.

The prompt is in bold.

I imagine all the time if I was the lottery ticket winner.  Money can't buy happiness but it does buy security for your family.

Yes, money is security for the things we need and want. Who doesn't dream of winning a lottery ticket? Great finish to the prompt!

I know money doesn't buy happiness but I'd like to try! :)

It certainly would! I couldn't agree more :o)

So true. I know everyone says money doesn't buy happiness, but I would love to be able to judge for myself LOL. Great job! Kat

Yes I agree. I have quite a few places where I could place some extra money if it came flying into my hands through a windfall.
So true, so true...
Best wishes,

Yes, I would love to find out for myself if "money doesn't buy happiness."

Yes, yes it does buy security. I'm afraid I won't ever know that security!

This is so funny that the centus is about "the lottery" today, because I bought 3 lottery tickets today and I NEVER buy them...well, maybe once every couple of YEARS! All I'd like is enough $$ to pay all my bills and be out of debt!

You said so much in just two sentences! Yes, money can provide security, but it definitely does not guarantee happiness. Thanks for this thought provoking post.

Nice, sound thinking...Peace

It's a wise thought. And additionally I like the idea of what a character might go on to do to provide security if they didn't win... (other than working hard, making smart decisions, and saving. yawn) ;) Thought provoking.

Well said!

How fun about your son!

When I'm that far behind, I just delete everything and start fresh. You can just pretend your computer crashed or something.
