Day 6

This day we had tickets to see The Lion King which was at Mandalay Bay.  This casino was also connected to The Luxor.  I was highly anticipating see this.  I loved watching the movie with my son when he was little and I only heard great things about the musical.  We had gotten two free tickets for it and I purchased two extra for son and his girlfriend.  It was good but I was surprised I didn't love it like I thought I would.  Girlfriend had seen it before and she thought something was off with it as well.

When we were done we went to a place called The Peppermill to eat.

It was a pretty cool place.  It had neon lights inside and tiffany lamps with flamingo design hanging from the ceilings at each table.  There were trees inside.  It was just a warm Las Vegasy kind of place.

Our meals were excellent and they were pretty big portions.  Son and girlfriend got to take all the leftovers home from the various restaurants we went to.
