“Tom, I have something I need to talk to you about.”
“Um… it’s Friday, bowling night.”
“Don’t go. We need to talk, please.”
“I’ll be late” he said leaving.
She picked up the phone and called her girlfriend. “I’ve officially reached critical mass. It’s time.”
“Okay, you can stay here” and they hung up.
Like a robot, she went to the bedroom, got her suitcases
and packed.
She reread the letter. The woman said they’d been meeting every
Friday night for years.
She took her wedding rings off, putting them on the kitchen
counter on top of the letter and walked out.

Oh my gosh I genuinely had a letter like that , from one of my exes girlfriends friends . It proved what I had suspected for months. Sadly had no where to go so stayed here
Ohhh...that's good. And well done!

Oh not expected at all. Great Saturday Centus!
too often it's not fiction or 105 words
great, realistic Centus
Sometimes returning to an empty house finally opens one's eyes! Bravo!
