We went to my sister-in-laws for a BBQ yesterday in the evening.
It was hot, hot, hot, everyone mostly stayed in the house until a while before fireworks were going to start.
The back of her condo is close to the school where they were going to be shot off from. As we were sitting on the patio waiting for them to start, it was getting darker and darker from rain clouds and then there was the lightening.
We thought for sure it would be cancelled. .
It started getting windier and windier, which actually felt pretty good and it got considerably cooler.
They did start the fireworks amongst the rain, wind and lightening. It had to be one of the best fireworks shows I've ever seen. Instead of stretching it out like normal, it took them probably less than 15 minutes to light them all. It was like one long finale lol.
Edited: I saw in the newspaper the show was supposed to be 22 minutes long. They shot off all the fireworks in 7 1/2 minutes, ha.
