“Come in Sara, I’m awake.”  

“Here she is grandma” and she placed a baby in the old woman’s arms.

“Hospitals sure let newborns out quickly nowadays.”

“I’ll say to think yesterday at this time I was in labor.”

“She’s just beautiful, honey.  She looks like you when you were born.”

“I’m going to grab a cup of coffee and leave you two alone for a while.”

“Okay.”

Sarah got coffee stopping outside the door when she heard the lullaby. 
                     
“Sleep my child, and peace attend thee”

Knowing this was possibly the last time she would hear it from her grandma the tears came.
