Busy, Busy January

It is going to be a busy time here this month.  I finally got my walls washed in the bathroom.  The walls really need to be painted but so does the inside of my whole house.  We really need to try and get the inside done this year.

We're going to take Corky by one of my dinner friends to see how he gets along with her dog.  I want him to go by her Saturday when we have the in-law Christmas.  I don't think they want to fight him for the couch LOL.

This week our son will be coming home for almost two weeks.  I'm looking so forward to seeing him.

We've got  blood tests, doctors and dentists appointments etc.  Some I rescheduled from December, what was I thinking, ha.

We really didn't do much on New Year's Day.  We did have the usual pork and sauerkraut.  They say whatever you do on New Years Day is what you will be doing the rest of the year.  Then on Sunday I thought about it and figure that it probably wasn't such a good idea lazing around all day LOL.

Today I'm going to have to hit the ground running to get everything done I need to this week.

I hope everyone had a great New Years Eve/Day.

Our grocery store had no pork and no sauerkraut! On the one year I feel like being traditional!

Sounds like you are ready to jump and run! I never heard of having pork and sauerkraut for New Year's--just black-eyed peas--which we forgot to do again. :D

I'm catching up on your posts.

"what you do on New Years day is what the rest of the year will be like" ???? that's a scary thought...

January must be the most list-driven month of the year. We're all trying to hit the deck running.

I would love to repaint the inside of our home as well! Had a wonderful NY's eve with family but I had a lazy NY's day! Oops! :)
