Christmas in July

I know a lot of people don't even start thinking about Christmas until the fall but not me.  I always order my Christmas cards from the Current catalog in July.  Then usually in August I make my labels for the envelopes, except last year I used old labels I had on the computer.  In September or October, I figure out if I have enough to say in a newsletter for some people and if I do, I get on it and type it out.  I try to have my cards completed by Thanksgiving because I like to get them in the mail the beginning of December.

When I order my cards, I also order two calendars for the coming year.  One that I hang and one pocket calendar.  It's hard to believe but by the time I get them, I already have  appointments for the new year to put on them.

So far, I'm right on track.  It's time to get started on the labels.

I know some people buy their cards at the end of the previous season and get them pretty cheap that way.

I also know less and less people are sending out holiday cards.  If you send cards when do you buy them?

After Christmas is when I buy them
Still haven't cut back on sending, but soon must give it thought.

Bought mine in July from christianbook.com. Lots of great deals. Starting to address them this week. Love to get this done in August. It ALWAYS makes Christmas prep easier! ~~Rhonda :)
