Saturday Centus 18

It's Saturday Centus again - in a nutshell, Jenny Matlock gives us a prompt from either herself or a guest submitter and then we have to write 100 or words less related to the prompt (the prompt doesn't count toward the 100 words)  Then link it up to her blog.  It's open until the following Saturday, so that means you have all week to participate by either reading or writing a Centus,  The prompt is in bold.    Check out to see what others have written http://jennymatlock.blogspot.com/2010/09/welcome-to-week-eighteen-of-saturday.html

It was a dark and stormy night.

The woman went to answer the door.  I yelled "Don't open it" but she did and let the slasher in.  The TV went dark.

Outside I could see the whole street was black.

I thought why do people always open the door like that.  What an idiot.

I laid down starting to doze when the knock came.  I picked up a vase and peered through the door.  It was a hooded figure.  I opened the door and whacked the person on the head.  As they fell to the ground, I saw it was my husband.  Uh oh!

Why do they always open the door? Don't answer the phone and don't open the door! Rules to remember! ;)

I just posted two assignments on one post. I'm bad, but please visit me anyway!

I'm laughing out loud. This was too funny. I'm always yelling at the screen during scary movies. This definitely sounds like something I might do :)

Oops! At least it wasn't the pizza guy.

Hahaha I always wondered that too. Or how come people always decide to split up when there is a killer on the loose? Great take on the SC.
