Saturday Centus #30

This weeks we have a unique prompt supplied by Clearspace...a regular contributor to SC. Here are the instructions for this week:

This weeks prompt writing will be one with a twist. You know those horoscopes in newspapers? One of those will be your new prompt. Pick one randomly from a paper or a website and write a story <100 words about the kind of day that horoscope "predicts".  Go over to see what others did.  http://jennymatlock.blogspot.com/search/label/Saturday%20Centus

Libra  Sep. 23 - Oct. 23

With the sensitive Moon transiting your twelfth house of secrets and spirituality, you may not care for the company of others now. Make an effort to feed your soul this afternoon, whether you indulge in aroma therapy, yoga or a chocolate ice cream treat. Being alone for any length of time should be therapeutic. Tell your loved ones you need some alone time and then take it!   This is the horoscope I'm writing about and where I got it from.  http://www.newsnet5.com/subindex/lifestyle/horoscope

My 100 words:

I woke up early and went to the computer.  Oh no, another twist for Centus.

As I looked on a web site for a horoscope for the day mine said "you may not care for the company of others now".  So far, it seems correct.  This is usually my favorite thing to do but right now I feel like my head is going to explode.

I do like the fact that it says I should feed my soul.  I will be putting Christmas decorations up and watching college football but not alone, hmmm.

This is terrible, I know.  The end.

At least you wrote a Centus. I've got so much going on here that I couldn't even settle in to get one done.

Kudos!

=)

Aww Viki I know my mind went blank for ages at first. I was lucky to get a decent horoscope to work on.

At least you had a go thats the main thing :)

I actually like the way you went with this. I hadn't thought of writing my own reaction to what the horoscope predicted for me.

I wrote one similar to this and pulled it down. Maybe I should relink. I like what you did. Mine is my reaction too.

Alone time is rejuvenating! Enjoy your day. Mine also involves decorations and football. And perhaps a nap...

Not terrible at all. I'm glad you didn't rush straight away to it!

Well, Rod can do the decorations if he wants to, but I am watching LSU football and napping!!

Well done. This was not as easy an assignment as I first thought, when reading other's Centus-text.

Way to get something accomplished! I was kind of blank when I read the change up for the prompt.

That's perfectly alright. you take as much alone time as you need . Jeez What else can you do when you are in a spiritual house? pray maybe?

Well, I appreciate your putting a dose of reality into the centus this week. I enjoyed it and wish I would have written it! :o)

Argggh - can't even think about Christmas decorations right now. But I would LOVE some alone time! Kat

You missed a perfect opportunity to gorge yourself on chocolate ice cream treats! :) I would have been right on that!

I thought about skipping this one myself. Not that I don't like the company mind you, I just couldn't wrap my mind around the prompt. Too much other stuff taking up space in the old gray sponge today. I could go for some chocolate right now! :-) ~Ames

I took away my first attempt at this, in case you tried to visit my post and found that it was not accessable. But it's working now. I have written a Centus for week 30.
Best wishes,
