A lot has happened since I last posted. Mom's in long term care at a nursing home. I was worried when the decision was made but she is doing great there.
My son moved out of state with his girlfriend. He still hasn't been able to find a job but hopefully, the job situation will pick up.
Today is Ron's birthday and while he won't see this, I just wanted to acknowledge how great he's been with the whole mom situation living here, then going to the hospital all the time, rehab and then the decision to put her in long term. He was my rock. Although we had our ups and downs through it all, he always came through for me. I don't know that many husbands would have put up with all this especially when I went through my anxiety stage. He's really a good man.
While I thoroughly enjoyed the summer we had with it not being hot -- fall not so much. It's been so rainy and cold. It seems like winter already. I finally put on my winter coat the other day when we went to see mom because it wasn't raining. It's been kind of a toss up with the coat do I want to wear the raincoat that has a hood I can put up and be cold or wear the winter coat and be wet.
This year our garden was bountiful. The squirrels left our tomatoes alone. Also, we had tons of cucumbers. We ended up giving a lot away. I think it had something to do with the weather. Most all of the garden is gone but there's still a few tomato plants that have to be pulled out yet.
I'm hoping to have more time to blog.
P.S. If you haven't got a mammogram now is the time to do it!!

I know what you mean about Ron I don't know what I would have done without him when John was at the Clinic. He is a good man.
