Prompt in pink

My Grandma always told me marriage isn’t always hearts and flowers.  The most important times are when it isn’t going well and how you handle it.”

“Mom you’ve told me this hundreds of times.  I know the spiel.”

“I’ll probably tell you again when you complain.”

“I know” she chuckled.

“I love you, baby girl. I’m going to go take my seat and send Dad in.”

She turned when the door opened.

“Wow, you are beautiful.  Are you ready?”

“Yes, Daddy” and they hugged.

“Let’s go then” and she put her arm in his smiling.
