bronze shoes

When my son was little, I got a pair of his shoes bronzed.  Do people even do that anymore?  I had them made into bookends.  I usually use them only as decorations though.

I have my son's baby shoes but they aren't bronzed. I miss the handprint phase also. Now he's big and strong and no longer my "baby boy."

Hi Viki! I don't think people do that anymore, either. I guess it's a thing of the past.
I haven't stopped by your blog in a while, in fact I haven't stopped by very many at all lately! I got a big smile just now when I arrived at yours. I always put a quote at the end of every post, and today's quote is the same one you have at the very top of your blog!! I just keep having these moments that I jokingly refer to as: Twilight Zone moments, or ESP moments!!
P.S. Yes, Blogger has changed some things and added new templates and backgrounds....but I say BEWARE! People are having problems with them! I wouldn't try to change anything until they get all the "bugs" out...as in your basement hive!! :D

I have actually never heard nor seen this before -- but it sounds like such a cool practice.
